Join us for Cloyd's Homecoming this Sunday, September 30th, 2018. The celebration will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a meet and greet, light breakfast and dulcimer music in the prayer garden. Our 11:00 a.m. worship service will feature a presentation of the church vision and note burning, to signify the major milestone of paying down the church debt. Immediately following our worship service, we will enjoy a complimentary catered lunch and concert by The Dixie Dulcimers. Come and invite friends (old and new) to celebrate our shared history and vision for the future!
Join us for Cloyd's Vacation Bible School (VBS) on June 25-29 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This year's VBS theme will be Shipwrecked, where kids will learn to survive on an uncharted island, anchored in the truth that Jesus will carry them through life’s storms. Register your kids online today at www.cloydscpc.org/featured/2018/vbs!
Cloyd's Cumberland Presbyterian Church (CPC) is taking a once in a lifetime trip to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This excursion is open to the community, and will be a great opportunity to experience the pages of the Bible as never before. The voyage begins again on June 22-23, 2018! See www.cloydscpc.org/featured/2018/ark for more details.
Join Cloyd's CPC on Friday, March 30th at 7:00 p.m. for a special Good Friday Service, featuring a special selection of music by the Choir, and a visit from Peter as he tells his story. This reflective night of worship will help us experience the depths of these moments, so we can truly prepare for the joy of the Resurrection on Easter morning.
Sunday, March 25th is Palm Sunday, and the first day of Passion Week. We will continue our series of sermons from Dr. Phelps' book, Hidden Treasures, and will look at this Holy Week through the eyes of a Jewish person of that day. If you miss Sunday, you are going to miss a chance to dig deep into what really happened during Passion Week.
