The Christian Education Ministry here at Cloyd's exists to worship Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior through a disciplined approach to Bible study for the purpose of increasing individual faith and personal growth in God. This approach is accomplished through our year-long Studies for Adults, Children and Youth, and our Vacation Bible School Program.

At Cloyd's Cumberland Presbyterian Church, we believe that learning the "Way of Life taught by Jesus Christ" is a life-long endeavor. We also believe that it is important to walk that journey with others and to share what we have learned along the way. To enable everyone to have the opportunity to explore their faith and deepen their knowledge and understanding of God's Word, we provide many opportunities for persons of all ages to come together in a loving Christian learning environment

Worship services are the cornerstone of the church.   It is in communal worship that God is exalted and lives are inspired by the Holy Spirit.  The Worship Ministry Team supports the church leadership in developing exciting and worshipful services where people can respond to God’s revelation.

We are also responsible for shaping the service to enable the entire congregation to be touched by something that strengthens their walk with Christ.  We solicit prayer and input from church members to help us fulfill our responsibilities and we sincerely hope those who visit will be called to make Cloyd’s their church home.

The Grounds Committee’s sole purpose is to maintain the House of God.  Through campus planning, maintenance and manual labor, the committee strives to keep the grounds in a manner fit of our Savior.From the properties' beginnings as a tent revival in the late 18th century, through the first small building on the property, to our new sanctuary dedicated in 2008, we see the service that men and women have given the church over the years. We look to them in respect and enjoy doing our part to continue a fine church tradition.

The Fellowship Committee assists the Missions and Outreach Ministry by making every individual feel a part of the Family of God at Cloyd’s Cumberland Presbyterian Church. It ensures that all fellowship activities are planned to support the coming together of God’s people.
